The abstract art of cavejstudio

After over 40 years of designing and building houses, I am now pursuing a life long dream of painting. I have drawn and painted off and on during my life but never was ready to venture out with my own studio. I'm now painting regularly and really enjoy the feeling I get when I am working on a piece of abstract art.

MY ART

My techniques have evolved over the years and are still changing. I am a fluids mechanic, applying filaments of color to the surface of the painting. The medium is thrown at the canvas from varying distances and speeds which result in a variety of formations and a balance of space and color.

Drawing, designing, building and painting have always come natural to me. I am intrigued with creating a finished product for others to enjoy. The patience, peacefulness and positive feelings of painting keeps me focused on a spiritual, meaningful life in today's busy world.
